NCEF Has a New Board Member

NCEF is incredibly pleased to be welcoming a new board member, Alyssa Fava, to our organization.

Alyssa has been a leader in Human Resources in the Portland metro area for a decade, most recently holding leadership positions at a Portland-founded tech startup.

Access to education has always been central to Alyssa's values. As a student in the North Clackamas School District, she founded a girls' mentoring program to support her fellow youth in building confidence, creating strong study habits and exploring the opportunities available through higher education.

Alyssa attended Portland State University for her bachelor's degree, double-majoring in Human Resources and Leadership Management. She completed her Master of Global Labor and Employment Relations degree at Pennsylvania State University in 2019.

Alyssa feels that education unlocks the unlimited potential of our youth and deeply believes in NCEF's mission of providing equity and access to education.

Welcome, Alyssa! We're so happy to be working with you. If you're interested in serving alongside Alyssa and her fellow board members, you can apply to join us here. We're especially interested in folks who speak a second language.
