The North Clackamas Education Foundation serves 17,000 students in 31 schools located in the North Clackamas School District. As the population grows, the district faces increasing demands on resources. The student body of the North Clackamas School District is economically and socially diverse. Additionally, more than 34% of North Clackamas students qualify for free- or reduced price- lunch, a commonly used indicator of poverty. 

​The North Clackamas Education Foundation strives to bring equitable educational offerings to the entire district so that students are engaged and ready to learn. How do we do this? We award scholarships, many of which take into consideration hardship faced outside of the classroom, to graduating seniors. We distribute Educator Enrichment Grants to make special projects, field trips, and classroom accommodations possible. We partner with local organizations to provide family support, ensuring that the basic needs of students are met. 

While we do have a partnership with the district, NCEF operates completely separately. How do we make all of this happen?
