Sponsor Spotlight: OnPoint Community Credit Union Awards Educator of the Year

NCEF would not be where it is today without the constant support of today’s sponsor spotlight, OnPoint Community Credit Union. OnPoint CCU was founded in 1932 by 16 teachers and though they have grown over the years to include more than 460,000 members across Oregon, they have stayed true to their roots as they generously support students, teachers, and schools in communities across the state.

In the spring of 2023, OnPoint honored four Oregon educators for their excellence in education. To support these educators and show gratitude for all they’ve done, OnPoint will generously pay for each winner’s mortgage or rent for a full year. Talk about putting your money where your mouth is!

One of the award winners is Lucas Dix, a middle school teacher in Rowe Middle School in Milwaukie, Oregon. Lucas Dix is a champion for his students in so many creative ways and NCEF is honored to have supported him many times over the years with educator grants and other program partnerships. Congratulations to Lucas Dix!
